Seriously- I thought I found the holy damn grail. This stuff changed my life- cured my depression, erased my anxiety, and squashed my insomnia. It actually tripled my productivity at work the very first day I dosed before my shift by getting my mind off all the negativity and allowing me to focus fully on what I was doing. After a wonderfull several months of reveling in its glory with only a few tolerance breaks, out of the blue it causes ridiculous bloating and pain to the point I can't even take a quarter gram without looking 9 months pregnant when I had previously generally taken 1-2 g with piracetam to potentiate in the morning and usually 4 g with piracetam, gaba, and other random supplements like melatonin at night. Don't judge lol I know I overused a bit- I have really severe PTSD (prolonged sexual abuse by a roommate and a lot of crap dealing with being caretaker for a severely alcoholic parent) and literally can't function at work or handle life at the moment without something to help get my mind off it. The only other one that's helped is tianeptine and 5 htp but tolerance builds so fast to both and they're so expensive it isn't feasible long term and still doesn't help half as much even with aniracetam to potentiate the tianeptine and b6 for the 5htp. Is there any way to fix this? I've tried both hcl and FAA and tried snorting and even plugging the FAA to no avail. Guess that's desperation for ya. Tried it with every digestive supp under the sun ( literally- I work at GNC and my bf at the time worked at the vitamin shoppe) please help because I'm truly afraid of winding up resorting to other things I perhaps shouldn't, and my performance at work took a heck of a hit since I can't really control my anxiety anymore- I actually truly love my job and don't want to mess it up. Thanks

I'm sorry you've hit that wall. With phenibut, it seems like it's pretty inevitable, though. I'm not judging, but that's too much phenibut, and you overused more than a bit. There is no telling what to expect at 5-6 grams a day. I've seen a lot of experience reports from people who say that less than 2 grams doesn't do anything for them, and that may be true. However, once you start going over 2 grams a day things get unpredictable - actually, things are guaranteed to get really fucked up, you just can't be sure how. There is no getting around it: you have to cycle phenibut, or it will fuck you up. It's not like kratom, opiates, or a lot of other drugs. You can't just take tolerance breaks, you need to cycle it regularly. It's like a lot of body building supplements: if you don't cycle it properly and regularly, it will hurt you one way or another. The recommendations for what that cycle is varies greatly, but you always need at least a two day washout, and in general, a washout of at least as many days as you took it is absolutely necessary. If you're taking it 3 and 4 days at a time, you need at least the same number of days washout. The cycle becomes particularly important with such high doses. There is no other answer to your question. If you have PTSD, you need to talk to your doctor or psychiatrist and get some alternatives to phenibut. Unfortunately the drugs that best control anxiety tend to be habit-forming, but you should talk to someone who can help you figure out some medication that will help you manage your anxiety without the GI discomfort (and pretty serious risk of other issues) you are experiencing with phenibut. You have to cycle it consistently and for days at a time. It will fuck you up, if you don't. Good luck. You really should try to find a doctor who can help you -- using phenibut as you describe is not sustainable, even if you figure out how to manage the GI distress it's causing.
